Hawthorn Hills is definitely one of my favorite neighborhoods in the Hendersonville, NC area. It has an amazing History that has been preserved over the years. You can read about Hawthorn Hill’s Rich History here. It is worth the read.
The almost 200 acres was once a family run Dairy Farm. In 1957 it was shifted from a Dairy Farm to a development by the same family. The first home was built in 1963 and building continued until just a few years ago. Because of this long span of development, there are a large variety of styles, making it a very unique community.
Hawthorn Hills has a small lake and wide roads. The yards are all beautifully landscaped and mature with large trees and bushes. Spring is my favorite time in Hawthorn Hills, I love driving through and seeing all of the flowering trees they have lining roads and driveways.
There are 103 homes in Hawthorn Hills. The average lot size runs about 1.61 acres. In the last year, four homes have sold in Hawthorn Hills. They ranged in price from $280,000 to $334,000.
