A couple of weeks ago I was out driving on the eastern side of Henderson County and ran across a new development I had not known about. Timberline Estate is a new community located on a mountain top, with incredible long range views. I found fourteen lots for sale and was excited about the beautiful views!
The Willow Ridge Neighborhood
This little known community is tucked into a mountain, with long range views. Located west of Downtown Hendersonville and between Hendersonville and Brevard, this is a great location. Not only is it easily accessable to Hendersonville and Brevard, but also Asheville’s west side and the local airport. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and State and National Parks everywhere.
The Britton Creek Neighborhood
Britton Creek is is a small community of 66 condominiums, located on the west side of Hendersonville NC.
These are nice units, and some have had some really nice upgrades over the years. This community was built in the early 1980’s and they are solid and well thought out in their design. Most are two bedrooms two baths, and some have garages.
Ashley Place, Hendersonville NC

If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood with large yards and older well built homes, English Hills is for you. Located just south of Downtown Hendersonville about two miles, English Hills is off of Kanuga Road. Once in the neighborhood, you will find nice wide streets with long range views and meticulously maintained landscaping.
Built in the mid 1970’s, there are 59 homes. Lots in English Hills average around one acre, and most are fairly level, but not all. The majority of them have brick siding, so there is little exterior maintenance. In the last two years, three homes have sold at an average of $248,100. The average turn around is 9.51 years, making it a very stable neighborhood. Once people move in they tend to stay. That is always a good sign.
These homes in general are very large and roomy with plenty of storage space. They are well built, solid homes. Most are a ranch style, and some have a basement.

There are large areas of woods, and some creeks running through the community. There are also areas with long range views looking toward the south and the Saluda grade area.
