Winter has come to Cummings Cove and it is beautiful. I thought I would share some images with you. I hope that you enjoy them.

Imagine a community centered around a flower garden, gazebo and walking paths, and lush woods. This little known community is tucked into a mountain, with long range views. Located west of Downtown Hendersonville and between Hendersonville and Brevard, this is a great location. Not only is it easily accessable to Hendersonville and Brevard, but also Asheville’s west side and the local airport. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and State and National Parks everywhere.
The Willow Ridge community was built in the late 1980′s to mid 1990′s. The builder maintained the old growth trees so that it has a beautiful balance of homes and woods. They boast views that are either wooded, or long range mountain views. There are only 31 homes in this neighborhood, making it intimate and cozy.
There are a wide variety of homes, with regard to size (1700 to 2900 square feet) and style. The Home Owners Association Fees are reasonable, at about $320 per year.
Currently there are two fantastic homes for sale in Willow Ridge. Priced at $215000 and $224900, these are exceptional values.

And the location allows easy access to Hendersonville, Asheville and Brevard, all wonderful places to visit and play.
Homes in Somersby Park have all of the upgrades on would expect in an upscale gated community. You will find open floor plans and hardwood floors, granite countertops and luxurious bathrooms. And yet the Home Owners Association fees are low, at only $880 per year. There are no golf courses or pools to keep up, just good mountain living. This makes Somersby Park a quiet and serene place to retire.
Somersby Park is a newer community, starting in 2000, with an average home age of six years. There are currently 25 completed homes, with an average lot size of a little over one acre. Homes have an average of about 3000 square feet per home. The average selling price in the last two years has been at $1,073,494, and that is with 50 home sales.
Currently there are three homes for sale in Somersby Park. These listing prices range from $369,900 to $569,900, making for a great time to buy in this beautiful community. Square footage for these three homes runs from 2500 to 3400, and the lots are atypical in their smaller sizes.
