I came across the Laurel Oaks neighborhood today that I had not visited before. I drive by the road on occaision and had never had the time to drive in and investigate. Today, with a little extra time, I decided to check it out.

What a find! This is a beautiful gated mountain community, and is packed with gorgeous long range mountain views. There were nine lots for sale and the homes I saw were stunning.

My research found no homes for sale, but the nine lots range in price from $21,900 to $67,400. The sizes ranged from .68 to 1.14 acres. The Laurel Oaks Association fees are very reasonable, at $80 per month.

Located at the entrance of Laurel Oaks is a gorgeous pond, and the drive into the community was serene. You can see a this beautiful community in the slide show below:

Carriage Park, Hendersonville NC

Carriage Park, in Hendersonville NC, began development in 1989, and has continued to grow into a Gorgeous Mountain Top, Luxury, Gated Community. Voted four times as one of the Top 100 Master Planned Communities by Where To Retire Magazine, it is well known by many.

The Carriage Park infrastructure directs traffic from neighborhoods, around the community via Carriage Parkway, a unique road which circles the community. With stunning views, and wildlife occasionally seen along the way, it is a beautiful drive. Carriage Park also has it’s own Fire Department within the community, as well as a large lake, and dam.

According to Lifestyle, the Carriage Park Association, LLC has just been acquired by Dale and Lisa Hamlin of Hendersonville NC. Dale has been a developer for years and has successfully developed 14 other communities. Lisa is an Interior Designer in Hendersonville. The community is still under development so it will be interesting to see how the Hamlin’s complete the project over the next few years.

Carriage Park is situated on a Mountain Top, with elevations as high as 2500 feet. Residents have access to a Beautiful Club House, a pool, tennis courts and more.

There are several neighborhoods within the community and each have their own feel and style. There are Single Family homes as well as Town Homes, providing a wide choice of living styles.
